About The Behaviour Guy
Dean Heald M.Ed. B.Ed. has made a career of helping people understand and respond to challenging behaviours. For the last 30 years he has worked in a variety of environments in roles ranging from Group Homes Special Education Teacher to Behaviour Consultant/Coach.
In addition to his professional experience Dean has first hand knowledge of what it is like to be almost left behind by a system that didn't now how to meet his needs and what it takes to overcome these difficulties.
He strongly believes that there is not behaviour problem that can't be overcome and no child that can't flourish with the right support.
Dean's in-depth experience, knowledge and insight regarding Psychological Trauma and his exceptional ability to educate on this topic really set him apart.
